Estate administration is the legal process that takes place after a person’s death to assess, manage and distribute their assets to their beneficiaries. As part of my practice, I assist clients who have been appointed as either Executors or Administrators of estates to fulfill their obligations to identify a deceased person’s assets, pay debts and distribute the remaining assets in accordance with the deceased person’s Last Will and Testament, or in the absence of a will, in accordance with state law. I also assist clients when they need legal representation when disputes arise in the administration of estates and distribution of assets.
