Utilizing my services as an Approved Parenting Coordinator R. 5:8D, I can help parents devise ways to implement and comply with parenting plans. With the right guidelines and oversight, parent coordination can help resolve disputes between parents after divorce, quickly and cost effectively.
A parenting coordinator (PC) is typically appointed by the Court or by agreement of the parties to help parents implement and comply with parenting plans.
PCs can assist parties in addressing a variety of child-related issues, such as, disagreements as to the scheduling of parenting time. PCs can facilitate communication between the parties and assist with decision-making.
A PC can help reduce conflict between parties and redirect the parties’ focus to the best interests of their child or children.
As a PC, I can assist parents in addressing and resolving child-related issues without further court involvement and in sustaining safe, healthy and meaningful parent-child relationships.
As a PC I can also issue Recommendations to guide the parties’ future interactions in the event agreements cannot be reached.
